Biography

Eileen M. Navarro is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Teacher. She was born and raised in Miami and has provided guidance to the local community for over 12 years. She has clinical experience providing individual, group, family, and couples therapy. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, and has extensive experience in multi cultural counseling. She has a client-centered approach and her goal is to empower client’s helping them to discover their personal strengths. She approaches every client as an individual, taking careful precision in exploring the issues that are affecting all aspects of their life. She is compassionate and dedicated, providing solution-focused therapy to her clients.

She works with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Her specialties include conduct and behavior problems, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, social difficulties, domestic violence, and trauma. In addition, Ms. Navarro has experience providing court-ordered services to individuals and families.

Eileen has worked in various settings throughout the community, including private practice, schools, speech pathology centers, state inpatient psychiatric units, foster care, shelters, and community mental health centers.  Her diverse experience functions as a key tool in providing various problem-solving strategies to her clients.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and her Master’s degree in Counselor Education at Florida International University in Miami.

Eileen earned a Certification in Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy with the objective of providing alternative treatment options for her clients.

She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the International
Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICBH).

Ms. Navarro is also a Licensed Practitioner for the Hypno-Band Weightloss Program..
